Where It Started

Neighborhood Sew and Sew is the product of three generations of love and learning. Our Queen Bee started sewing when she was 10, fueled by her mother’s fabrics and patterns stashed in a hall closet in a tiny house in rural Oklahoma.

Two Grandmothers

Her interest in sewing grew stronger because she had two sweet and sassy grandmothers who shared and fueled her passion. One provided materials and the other provided instruction. Their investment in this young bee led to skills that would allow her to create her own custom wardrobe, sew prom dresses, rodeo shirts and more for paying clients, and eventually to create cute clothes for her own child.

Today

These days our Queen Bee doesn’t sew clothes, but she loves quilting and crafting. The store is full of fabrics that she loves: color, print, and whimsy. We offer printed cotton fabric curated by her and small-batch handcrafted items sewn by her, all from our shop in Glendale, Arizona.
